Biographical / Historical

Frank Wise (c.1892-1966) was an Alderman of Kidlington, Oxfordshire. He was a member of Kidlington parish council, the chairman of Ploughley Rural District Council (the forerunner of Cherwell District Countil) and an elected member of Oxfordshire County Council. He was also a magistrate in Woodstock for many years. He was awarded the OBE in 1963 and died in Kidlington in 1966 aged 74.
