Biographical / Historical
Cadell and Davies was an English publishing company established in London in 1793 by bookseller and publisher Thomas Cadell the younger (1773-1836) and his apprentice, William Davies (d. 1820), when Thomas Cadell the elder (1742-1802) bequeathed his business to them. They shut down after Davies' death in 1819.
