Clement Richard Attlee, 1st Earl Attlee (1883-1967), was a Labour politician and Prime Minister, 1945-1951.
Eric Robertson Dodds (1893-1979) was a classical scholar. He was the Regius Professor of Greek at Oxford, 1936-1960.
