Biographical / Historical
William Arthur Moore (1880-1962) was a journalist and author. Moore, author of a number of works, including The Orient Express (London, 1914) and This Our War (Calcutta, 1942) wrote extensively on the Balkans, Iran and India in the first half of the 20th cent., and served as Managing Editor of the Indian newspaper, The Statesman, in the 1930s and early 1940s.
