Biographical / Historical

Ethel Marjorie Wilson (1905-1983) was a fashion-designer, munitions-worker and civil servant. She never married. She lived in Hanwell, London until 1971 when she moved to Okehampton in Devon.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The diaries were given to the Library by Ethel Wilson's nephew, I.T. Wilson, in 1984.
