Formerly owned by Edward Umfreville (d. 1786) - 'Umfreville MSS. no. 15' in Phillipps's hand (fol. 7); Sir Thomas Phillipps, MS. 25710, lacking fols. 1-24 of Phillipps's foliation; Sotheby's 27-28 Jun 1938, lot 446; H.R. Creswick; given to I.G. Philip, c.1939.
