Biographical / Historical
Francis Bayley (1803-1893) was the third son of John Bayley (1763-1841), 1st baronet. He was a judge of the Westminster County Court and his diary of a tour of Europe, 1823-1824, was purchased by Leonard Clark at a bookstall in Brecon.
