Biographical / Historical
John Rawlet (1642-1686) was a Church of England clergyman. He matriculated at Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1658 but did not graduate although he was created BD by royal mandate in 1676. He was the author of A Treatise of Sacramental Covenanting with Christ (1667) which had reached eight editions by 1736. For further details see the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
