Copies of letters from Matthew Ashton (later Matthew Frank), merchant in Hamburg, mainly to English merchants and to his brother Edward Frank of Campsall. The ringed folio numbers show the order in which the leaves were stitched when the manuscript came to the Library. Letters comprise:
