Robert Seymour Bridges (1844-1930) was Poet Laureate 1913-1930. For more details see Dictionary of National Biography.
(Mary) Monica Bridges (1863-1949) was the wife of the poet laureate, Robert Bridges. They married in 1884 and she assisted her husband in all his work, editing his essays after his death. For further details see the National Dictionary of Biography.
