Also, letters home (1927-1932) from C.H.N. Jackson, and diaries (1925-1937) of B.D. Burtt.

William Herbert Potts: born 1900, entomologist; Charles Herbert Newton Jackson, born 1905, scientist; and Bernard Dearman Burtt, 1902-1938, botanist, all worked at the Department of Tsetse Research in Shinyanga, Tanganyika. Compiled with reference to A Biographical Dictionary of the British Colonial Service 1939-1966 by A.H.M. Kirk-Greene (1991).
