Notes on the Ewart family, descendants of Simon Ewart of the East India Company
Biographical / Historical
Simon Goodman Ewart (c.1752-1812) was the son of John Ewart. He eloped to Belgium with his first wife Anne Manship and they married legally in London in 1773. Anne died in 1779. He married Mary Ann Benner in 1804. He was an employee of the East India Company, and died in Calcutta, India, 2 Dec 1812.
