Biographical / Historical
William Conrad Costin (1893-1970), President of St. John's College, Oxford, visited the Far East to attend a conference of the Institute of Pacific Relations in Shanghai, 1931-1932. He visited Canada on his way to China, spent three months in China, visited Hong Kong and Japan, returning via Indo-China and Palestine. Details are given in Who Was Who.
