Biographical / Historical
Charles John Baillie Hamilton (1800-1865) was the Conservative MP for Aylesbury, 1839-1847. He married Lady Caroline Bertie in 1821 at Wytham Abbey, Berkshire. They had two sons and two daughters, including Peregrine Charles Baillie Hamilton (1823-1860). Peregrine married Mary Elizabeth Way (1826-1875) of Newport, Isle of Wight in 1848.
