Biographical / Historical

Samuel Baker sailed to Jamaica on the Bernard, 1815-1816. Julian Alleyne Baker (1845-1922) was a lieutenant in the Royal Navy when he took part in the Khedive's expedition to suppress the slave trade in Egypt and the Sudan, 1869-1873.
