Abstract
21 deeds of the advowson of Oddington
Biographical / Historical
An advowson was the right of a patron to present a nominee for a church living to a diocesan bishop. The advowson of Oddington, Oxfordshire, was purchased by Dr Ralph Bathurst, president of Trinity College, in 1699. Bathurst then gifted it to the college in 1701.
