Thomas Edward Lawrence (1888-1935), known as Lawrence of Arabia, was a British intelligence agent and author. For further details see the Dictionary of National Biography.
Edward Thurlow Leeds (1877-1955) was an archaeologist and a curator at the Ashmolean museum in Oxford.
