The papers relate almost entirely to the vicarage of Waterperry, Oxfordshire, in the patronage throughout the 19th century of the Henley family.

- Bundle 1: envelope containing: a) an abstract of title of the Curson family to the advowson of Waterperry, Oxfordhire, 1814; b) copy of an order to take into the King's hands the lands of Richard Curson, 4 Edward VI [1550-1551]; c) marriage certificate of Sir Thomas Curson, 1st baronet, 1654;
- Bundle 2: 44 letters mostly between the Rev. John Carter and Joseph Henley, patron of the living, 1814-1820;
- Bundle 3: 55 letters and papers 1846-1907 referring chiefly to parish business and an increase in the value of the living, and between J.I. Henley and the Rev. L.C.C. Chalmers-Hunt about a proposed exchange of livings. These include a letter to J.I. Henley from Bishop Francis Paget of 13 Dec 1906;
- Bundle 4: a) envelope containing 19 papers relating to Waterperry tithes, 1780-1847; b) 59 papers and receipts for tithe modus and Easter offerings and other payments to vicars, 1786-1910.
- Bundle 5: a) Sale catalogue and three papers relating to Otmoor, Oxfordshire, 189[?]; b) typescript account of Waterperry church by the Rev. J. Todd, c.1930.
