Abstract

Papers of Derrick Robinson relating to British-Rhodesian affairs, 1960-1987.

Biographical / Historical

Derrick Robinson served in the British South Africa Police Force from 1947 until 1975, retiring with the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner. He was appointed Deputy Director-General of the Rhodesian Central Intelligence Organisation in 1975 and Director-General in 1981, retiring in 1983. He died in 1992.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The papers were donated to the Bodleian Library by the Honorary Secretary of the British South Africa Police Regimental Association (UK Branch) in 1995.
