Biographical / Historical

Mariana Cook was taught photography by Ansel Adams. She is known for her black and white, silver gelatine portraits of famous people, most notably Michelle and Barack Obama in 1996. Since 1990, she has photographed politicians, writers, academics, artists, and journalists.
