'Bernardini Ochini Sene[n]sis de Christo sermo ex Italico in Latinum conversus': beg. 'Quid Christus sit et quamobrem in mundum venerit. Si ovicula non cognosceret suum pastorem.' This is a translation by, and wholly in the handwriting of, Queen Elizabeth I, who prefixed a preface addressed to King Edward VI, and dated and signed 'Enfeldię, 30 Decembris. Maiestatis tuę humillima soror & scrua Elizabeta.'

The volume was no doubt a New Year's gift to the King perhaps as early as for Jan. 1, 1547/8.
