Colonel Humphrey P. Williams, OBE served with the 1st Battalion, King's African Rifles, Nyasaland and Tanganyika, 1931-1936, 6th Battalion, Tanganyika, 1936-1937, 13th Battalion, India, 1944-1945, and 1st Battalion, Northern Rhodesia and Malaya, 1949-1953.
