Biographical / Historical

Sir Douglas Sinclair Miller worked as Superintendent of Native Education, Northern Rhodesia, 1930-1945, and Director of Education, Basutoland, 1945-1948, Nyasaland, 1948-1952, Uganda, 1952-1958 and Kenya, 1958-1959. He was Director of Education and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Kenya, 1959-1960, and Temporary Minister of Education, Kenya, 1960-1961.
