The papers described in this section relate mainly to film music and screenplays of films written by Montgomery. Discs of film music and manuscript film scores, arranged alphabetically by title of film, Barnabas the Robber - Watch Your Stern, have been catalogued separately, as have discs of other musical compositions by Montgomery, together with manuscript music scores and a quantity of printed books relating to music. The non-film music scores include juvenilia and early works, 1937-45, n.d., with a 1944 setting of 'The horns of the morning' by Philip Larkin; Amberley Hall c. 1955; 'The Century's Crown', 1953, and 'Flourish for a Coronation', 1953.
