With index at the front, the volume details advertising opportunities pursued by Ducker & Son. Many are linked to the University of Oxford, its clubs and societies, and colleges (St John's Mummers, Keble Plays and New College Dairy). They also include schools (Magdalen College School), theatres (The Oxford Playhouse), hotels (Mitre, Randolph), pubs (The Lamb & Flag), agricultural shows (Thame, Wallingford) and hunts (Old Berkshire, Bicester). This is in addition to advertising ub magazines like Man and his clothes and various directories (Kelly's, Aubrey's, Midland Counties). Inserted between some relevant pages are orders, proofs, samples and related correspondence. At the back of the volume noted are orders for the shop: stationery, packing materials, grindery, silks and threads, coal and lamps as well as services of Henry F. Galpin, solicitor of George Street, Oxford.
