Biographical / Historical

George Gordon Noel Byron was already a famous poet when he married Annabella Milbanke in 1815 at her family home in Seaham. They had one daughter, (Augusta) Ada, who was born later the same year but they separated soon afterwards and were never reconciled. He died in Greece in 1824.
