Drawings and sketches, pencil and water-colour, of flowers and still-life, 1926
A few signed 'Dorothy Crowfoot', one headed 'Design V Upper', some with class marks or comments. Work done at the John Leman School in preparation for the School Leaving Certificate which Hodgkin took in 1926, achieving the highest overall mark of any girl candidate for the Oxford Local Examinations that year. Includes a mock 'Certificate' inscribed to 'The most brilliant demoiselle in this treasured realm of England' commemorating the result and award of a scholarship of £30 (Ferry p.32).
