Biographical / Historical
Charles Eugène Lamoisse was a landscape painter and photographer, known for charcoal and stump drawings, enhanced with gouache. He settled in Guadeloupe around 1844, establishing three photographic studios in Pointe-á-Pitre, Fort-de-France, and San Juan de Puerto-Rico.
