Biographical / Historical
William J. Johnson was a founding member and Honorary Secretary of the Bombay Photographic Society. He partnered with William Henderson to create photographs for 10 issues of the Indian Amateur's Photographic Album from 1856-1858. Some images were later included in Johnson's ethnographic publications.
