Biographical / Historical
W.T. Morgan was a portrait photographer who worked for Henry Hering, based in Greenwich.
Locke & Whitfield was a photographic studio in London opened by Samuel Lock and George Whitfield.
James Mudd was a photographer best known for his photographs on locomotives, many built by Beyer-Peacock.
Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, known as Nadar, was the most famous photographer of his day. He was the first person to take aerial photographs.
