The Rockefeller Foundation, 1941-1964
The Rockefeller Foundation provided funding for Hodgkin's early work on insulin, her work on penicillin and gramicidin S, and for the purchasing of new equipment. It also helped to fund Hodgkin's group on her appointment as Wolfson Research Professor in 1960.
