The three volumes MSS. Eng. d. 2835-2837 were acquired by the Dallas family, presumably in the 19th cent. Signature of G.E. Dallas on the front pastedown. Bought back by Joan Bruce (Mrs. Ian Bruce), Sotheby's, 20 May 1969, lot 452.
