Baron Hugo Hirst (formerly Hirsch) (1863-1943) was an electrical enginner and managing director of General Electric Company.

Custodial History

The papers are believed to have been given to the General Electric Company by Lord Hirst's daughter Muriel, Lady Gamage. They include a few papers relating to Muriel and her husband Sir Leslie Gamage, also a chairman of GEC.
