Barnard, industry, urban transport, Brown's appointment as a Secretary of State, the European Convention on Human Rights, meetings with the SPD [Social Democratic Party of Germany], housing policy, the Trades Union Congress, agricultural policy, interest rates and prices, the supply of frigates to India, and the 1964 Bury St. Edmunds by-election. Correspondents include George Strauss, Tony Benn, Frank [Cousins?], David Ennals, Jeremy Bray and Richard Crossman, among others. 1964
