After 14 Sep 1946 Murdoch seldom dated her letters. Folios 32-100 have mostly been dated by frank or conjecturally by address and content. Includes:

  1. (fol. 22) an unsigned, typescript [carbon copy?] letter from David Hicks to Murdoch, 28 May 1946
  2. (fols. 33-58) letters 1950, 1952, and conjecturally dated c.1950-1953; several sent from St Anne’s Society, later [1952] St Anne’s College
  3. (fols. 60-79) letters franked or conjecturally dated 1964-1966; from Harcourt Terrace and tenure at the Royal College of Art [21 June 1963-August 1967]
  4. (fol. 80) a postcard from Murdoch to Katherine Hicks, [c.1966-1967]
  5. (fol. 84) a letter from Hicks about his unpublished novel, 16 Feb 1972
  6. (fols. 85, 91) a postcard and a letter from Murdoch about Hicks's unpublished novel
  7. (fol. 92) a letter from Murdoch to Katherine Hicks, [c.1972]
  8. (fols. 93-100) letters from Murdoch about Hicks’s novel, with (fols. 96-97) notes by her commenting on the text.
