Comprises:

  1. (fols. 1-3) Lease and release of the manor of Lavington Episcopi to Elianora Bertie (later Countess of Abingdon), 15-16 June 1680. Two items, each with five pendant seals in lead seal boxes (one seal box missing).
  2. (fols. 4-5) An agreement between James, Earl of Abingdon and Catherine Venables to place Lavington Episcopi in trust for Elianora, Countess of Abingdon and thence to Montagu Bertie (son of James and Elianora) and his wife Anne (daughter of Catherine Venables), 8 Sept. 1688. One pendant seal in lead seal box.
  3. (fols. 6-7) Copy of a codicil to the will of James, Earl of Abingdon, 28 July 1683, proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, 3 Feb. 1700.
