Microfilm contains letters from King George III, 1766-1783, with one copy and one draft of letters from Shelburne to the King, 1782-1783. Also includes letters from Augustus, 3rd Duke of Grafton, 1766-1783, concerning appointments in the Cabinet and administration, and the conduct of the American War, with a copy and draft of letters from Shelburne, 1768, 1783, a letter from Lord Jersey to Grafton, and letters to and from the Duke of Manchester, 1782. Additionally contains letters from Charles, 1st Earl Grey, 1761-1795, mainly concerning military affairs, the conduct of the wars in North America and France and Grey's actions during the siege of Plymouth, 1779, with letters from Grey to Admiral John Jervis. Also includes letters from Augustus, Lord Keppel, 1778-1783, concerning the Admiralty and naval affairs, with copies of Shelburne's replies, 1782, and a draft letter from Lord Grantham to Keppel, 1782.
