(Dep. Collingwood 14/2) 'Preliminary Discussion - the Idea of a Philosophy of Something, and, in particular, a philosophy of History', added by Collingwood in Apr. 1927 as an introduction to the above lectures. On the title page Collingwood has written, Apr. 1928, '... I suspect it of being chaotic and practically valueless'. i + 13 leaves.
