  2. Elizabeth's letter describing the circumstances of John's death;
  3. 'Extracts from the diary of our dearest Mother [Elizabeth Carey]' on the 10th anniverasy on John's death;
  4. a copy of a letter to Sir George Murray (1772-1846) recommending Captain H. Johnson on behalf of Philip Melvill, Elizabeth's husband;
  5. and a reproduction of a portriat of Elizabeth Carey.
