Improved FIX retroviral construct cloning incorporating keratin promoters (e.g. K10 from Elaine Fuchs) for ex vivo gene therapy. Only partially successful. Taken over by DPhil student Sean Page on his arrival in Oct 1992.
Annealed flu panhandle experiments perfect duplex v. annealed panhandle (with Ervin Fodor) and gel shifts (see for example experiments 269, 271 (in Ervin Fodor's handwriting) and 277)
Gel shifts with flu baculo-PB2 (with Ervin Fodor) experiment 294.
DNA sequencing on the new ABI sequencer (with Annette Williams).
RNA synthesis de-protection notes.
China Protocol gene therapy (experiment 302).
