- Papers relating chiefly to education in Cape Colony and especially Boer propaganda in schools, comprising (i) `The Education Acts' (House of Assembly blue book); (ii) `Special Reports on the Systems of Education in Cape Colony and Natal (Board of Education, London), 1901; (iii) printed and duplicated Colonial Office correspondence, 1900-2; (iv) reports of the House of Assembly Select Committee on School Boards and Teachers, 1902, with covering dispatches from Sir W. F. Hely-Hutchinson to Chamberlain, press cuttings and a school history textbook in Afrikaans.
