In his letters home he writes that he attends lectures whenever his own work permits. The notebook includes:

  1. (fols. 1-45) 'Chapman. Kinetic Theory of Gases. May Term 1919' (with some corrections and additions in pencil)
  2. (fols. 46-58) 'Darwin on Theory of Quanta. Cavendish Lab.'
  3. (fols. 58-61) 'Debye. Degrees of freedom in elastic vibrations of a solid' (Perhaps a single visiting lecture by Debye)
  4. (fols. 62-70) 'Stratton on Series in Line-spectra'
  5. (fols. 72-78) 'Darwin on Bohr's Theory'.

The remaining pages are blank.
