Folder 1: 'The Daily Journal or, the Gentleman's and Tradesman's complete Annual Accompt-Book', 1758, with handwritten addition 'Great Oak 1758', pages Jan-Feb with notes on the growth of an oak tree at Shalstone, 1791-1919, pages Mar-Dec with notes on expenses, [1758]. Includes a letter in French sent from Paris to London via 'balloon post', giving an account of the situation in Paris during the Franco-Prussian War, Sep 1870.
Folder 2: Notebook 'The Garden Expenses at Shalstone since 1850', 1850-1899.
Folder 3: Notebook containing lists of books at the library of Shalstone Manor 'Taken 1866 & corrected Jan 1867' [German, Italian, French and Spanish books], 1866 and 1867 with later additions, and catalogue of English books, n.d.; notes by Sarah Anna Elizabeth FitzGerald regarding the distribution of her books and autographs after her death, 1869-1898.
