This exercise book contains two diaries written by Mabel with her pen-and-ink sketches, photographs, picture postcards and printed ephemera all stuck in. Comprises:

  1. (fols. 1-61) 'A Cruise in Cornwall: The story of a holiday fortnight in and around Falmouth', the first holiday that Mabel and her husband Charles took without their children, they were part of a crew on board a yacht, Jul-Aug 1951
  2. (fols. 61v-116) 'From Salcombe to the Isles of Scilly', Mabel and Charles helped to crew a yacht, Jul-Aug 1952, with loose letter to Charles Pratt from Josephine Blackwell, relating to this holiday, Aug 1953.
