Two notebooks covering book accessions from 8 Mar 1955 to 24 Aug 1962 and from 25 Aug 1962 to 10 Oct 1967. The first volume also contains Peter Opie's personal thoughts and observations, draft poems and letters, and notes on language, and has various newspaper cuttings, letters and other papers inserted, c.1941-1981.
