Book reviews and newspaper cuttings, c.1937-1960, 1965
Large scrapbook album, recording the Opies' work chronologically. Includes: press cuttings, book reviews, publicity material, sample dust jackets for their publications, and some letters. The beginning of the album covers Peter Opie's early work (c.1937-1947), while the rest of the volume covers the Opies' subsequent joint work (c.1947-1960). Also includes a folder of loose items, which were inserted in the back of the volume, including further press cuttings, another dust jacket, and prints of various illustrations (probably by Joan Hassall)
