  1. Correspondence with David H. Frisch regarding his paper 'Scientists and the Decision to Bomb Japan without a Demonstration', enclosing copies of letters from Gen. Leslie Groves, Vannevar Bush and James Conant who had commented on the manuscript and on the events described therein, 1970.
  2. Correspondence with Lorna Arnold of the UK Atomic Energy Authority reharding Peierls's wartime atomic energy papers, 1970. When these papers are declassified they will be deposited in the Public Record Office (now The National Archives), London. (See also MS. Eng. misc. b. 220/D.24.)
