An extended visit planned for 1986 and deferred after Genia Peierls's death.

The main purpose was to deliver the Royal Society Rutherford Memorial Lecture, on 'Rutherford and Bohr', but also included visits and lectures in Bombay, Poona, Bangalore, Mysore and Calcutta.

Material comprises correspondence with Royal Society and with colleagues in India, invitations, arrangements, lecture topics, schedules and itineraries, letters of thanks.
