Comprises material (including born-digital and digitised) relating to Meadows' PhD by published works at the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies, 1995-2005. Meadows PhD thesis is titled 'The Free Photographic Omnibus 1973-2004' and is described as a two stage creative work: 1) Searching for, rephotographing and interviewing subjects Meadows photographed during his Free Photographic Omnbibus tour in 1973-4, and 2) developing an existing Digital Storytelling model into a form of 'scrapbook television' and empowering others to use digital production tools.

Arrangement
Meadows' original arrangement of the PhD series has been retained; each box was assigned a number which has been given in the file title. The material is also referred to by these box numbers in Meadow's thesis and guide to the material (MS. Meadows 130). In order to maintain the arrangement, born-digital and digitised files from media carriers placed in these original boxes has also been incorporated into this series.
