Photographer-in-residence to the Borough of Pendle, Lancashire, Jun 1975-4 Sep 2020

Meadows was appointed Artist-in-residence for the Pendle Borough, Lancashire, for two years from 1975 to 1977 under a joint grant from the Gulbenkian Foundation and the local authority. As well as undertaking work for the borough, Meadows also carried out personal projects of his own initiative. Material includes:
- Photographic prints, mostly 10" x 8"
- Correspondence, particularly with family
- Papers related to personal projects undertaken during the residency
- Papers relating to exhibitions and photographic sales throughout the residency
- Typescripts of interviews with Pendle residents and workers
- Papers of the photograph and interview subjects, particularly Stanley Graham
- Digitised audio of interviews originally recorded by Meadows relating to the residents and industry workers around Pendle, Lancashire
- Digitised video originally filmed during Meadows' photography-in-residency or soon after.
